On site speaker: participantes que por convocatoria presentan aportes académicos producto de una investigación concluida mediante el envío de resúmenes (Abstrac) y que siendo aceptados, envían un documento extenso o artículo y realizan una presentación de forma oral o de poster utilizando las instalaciones del Palacio de Convenciones, estos serán trasmitidos por las plataformas virtuales del evento. El artículo y el resumen sin revisión de pares contarán con la opción de publicarse en revista seriada con ISSN “Memorias de Geociencias, Trabajos y Resúmenes”. Con revisión por pares ciegos, si la revisión es positiva y el artículo es de alta calidad e impacto, contará con la opción de publicar en la revista científica de las Geociencias en Cuba seriada con ISSN “Anuario de la Sociedad Cubana de Geología”, sujeto al dictamen de los pares evaluadores. Recibirán certificado de participación en el evento como ponente.

METHODOLOGY FOR VIRTUAL PARTICIPATION

PRESENTATIONS

Description: With this participation modality, you can obtain certification as a speaker by virtual means of the International Convention, evaluation of two blind pairs and publication as an article in the Cuban geosciences magazine with ISSN, subject to the opinion of the evaluating peers (For those who select speaker with peer review) or publish in the Memories with ISSN (For those who select a speaker without peer review).

How do you participate as a virtual speaker ?: The initial process is to complete the registration form and send the abstract for evaluation by the Scientific Committee of the event and apply for participation. After the presentation is accepted, a presentation will be made and sent in PPT, following the guidelines of the Convention: an extensive document or article for publication and a video tutorial which will be a support for the presentation and published on our YouTube channel. . The Scientific and Organizing Committee of the Convention, will send you along with your acceptance letter, the guide documents for the preparation of the video tutorial, the presentation in PPT and the full document, which must be sent within the deadlines established in the schedule of activities, which is designed for those who participate as speakers.

Participation as a speaker by virtual means is online. The speaker will have the time, the necessary technological tools (PC with camera, microphone and speakers) as well as the internet connection to access the conference room and present their work. The presentation of the topic will be accompanied by a presentation in PPT that will be approved in advance by the Scientific Committee of the Convention. This presentation will not exceed 10 slides, with a 70% image and 30% text ratio, a range of colors suitable for good understanding and clear reading. Participants who are witnessing their contribution on a PC screen will be considered, so their items will be sized appropriately to distinguish themselves. It should not exceed 10 minutes. Before the day of his presentation, the author will receive an email with the invitation and the password, to access the room and thus make his intervention, which will not exceed 10 minutes and 5 minutes for questions and answers.

• Presentations by virtual means will be located on the event's YouTube channel.

• The video tutorials for the presentations will be made through the integration of video and PowerPoint, this style of presentation follows a traditional format; It will mainly show the speaker on the screen including the explanation of the research or her experience through its presentation in PPT.
